Near term production - Bomboko

  • Nine alluvial licences adjacent to Guinea's only diamond mine, Aredor
    • Semi-industrial mining licence approved by Ministry of Mines January 2005 renewable after 3 years
  • Extensive sampling has identified a potential resource of up to 750,000 cts at grades up to 28 cpht, mainly gem quality
    • 200 carats and 4 large stones (9.2, 4.5, 4.2 and 3.8) recovered from bulk sampling
  • Mine on stream since March 2009
  • Production commenced April 2009
  • Operations commenced with a 10 foot Pan Plant capable of treating 7,000 tonnes a month
  • 16 foot Pan Plant supported by a 46 tonne excavator being installed, increasing production to 18,000 tonnes a month
