Alhassan Coker’s work experience has been almost entirely gained in the employment of the National Diamond Mining Corporation of Sierra Leone until he joined African Diamonds plc as Manager of the Kono Project in 2002.

Commenced work with the Geological Survey of Sierra Leone in 1970 and promoted to Senior Geologist in 1976. Was Deputy General Manager NDMC. He served on the Minerals Advisory Board from 1996 to 2004 He runs his own consulting company Geo Resources (SL) Ltd.

1989 -1990 National Diamond Mining Corporation as Project Officer in Charge Pampana gold project. 1990 -1995 Geologist Sierra Rutile mapping and drilling mineral sands 1996 -2000 Geologist Branch Energy -diamond operations.

Cert. Mechanical Engineering Since 1992 James Koroma has worked on diamond alluvial mining operations in Sierra Leone and Guinea

He worked with the Ministry of Mines as an exploration geologist from 1978 to 1986. Following this he worked on secondment from the Ministry of Mines as a consultant to several Mining Groups. He joined African Diamonds in 2004.
